Your new role :
Based out of our Naval Base office this role will report through to the Design and Estimating Manager. Partnering with key internal and external stakeholder this role will see you co-ordinate our project bids including collation of tender packages to deliver commercially viable bids. No two days will be the same and see you working across budget-cost, review project scopes, specifications, drawings, programs and costs with bid/sale requests. Other key responsibilities will include:
- Identify and transparently communicate basic risk areas in contract/tender and develop strategies/make recommendation on how to mitigate risk in conjunction with the sales representative, Construction/Project
- Drive tendering processes to ensure that bid processes achieve competitive pricing consistent with sound risk management.
- Ensure contractual obligations and risks identified at the bid stage are communicated to the project team in a formal and consistent manner to improve project governance and monitoring.
- Ensure appropriate governance occurs in the bid process

With your proven track record of bid management working withn in the building or related industry this will be complemented by your keen eye for detail. Other required skills and experience include:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in bid management within the construction industry, with demonstrable achievements in securing and delivering profitable projects.
- Exceptional project management skills, coupled with the ability to juggle multiple bids concurrently while maintaining unwavering attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation prowess, enabling you to articulate complex ideas persuasively and build strong rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- A strategic mindset, coupled with analytical acumen, allowing you to navigate challenges effectively and drive innovative solutions
