Marketing Coordination
• Identify new Business opportunities
• Identify and assist in the development of relationships with potential clients to generate New Business opportunities
• Actively assist in building brand awareness and lead generation by creating content and submissions for the Client/Business development programs and partake in face to face meetings, discussions and presentations to a wide range of audiences and potential clientele
• Adapt new media, technologies and creative approaches to ensure the FIMMA brand is kept fresh and relevant to customers
• Manage the creation and distribution of FIMMA newsletters
• Maintain the website, blogs and social media such as LinkedIn
• Assist in establishing and managing a marketing budget to support the marketing objectives of the business
• Periodic review of all marketing assets to ensure relevance/accuracy
• Creation/updating of a FIMMA style guide, to ensure all content is uniform and on brand
• Creation/updating of project specific marketing plans
Bid Management
• Read and understand all, Expressions of Interest (EOI), Requests for Tender(RFT), tender information and Principal Project Requirements so bid strategies can be formulated with the bid team
• Provide excellent written communication skills, including the ability to write customer proposals which focus on benefits and influence outcomes in line with EOI and tender criteria
• Prepare Construction Methodologies templates and wordsmith as required
• Ensure company supportive material such as CV’s, policies and accreditations are up to date
• Produce EOI and bid submissions in consultation with the Estimating and Senior Management Team
• Manage bid meetings and follow up as required to meet deadlines
• Forward and follow up on commercial reviews for all EOI’s and Tenders
• Assist with encouraging Sub-contractors and Suppliers to participate in Tenders over the tender period
• Set out and coordinate deadlines for draft and final documents for the tender submissions.
• Lead all EOI and Bid processes ensuring that all deliverables of the submissions have been assigned to a staff member or external consultant
• Drive Value and Points of Difference in proposals, through collaboration with subject matter experts
• Liaison with Senior Management in the preparation of relevant tender documentation, technical review of those tenders and technical and commercial negotiations with prospective clients and/or tenderers
• Assist in the handover of winning bids to the Construction Manager / Project Managers to ensure that all program and technical interface requirements are effectively communicated to the relevant Project staff prior to commencement of Project
• Attending site briefing/inspections when required
• Liaise and be the contact for external creative services, such as, photographers, videographers, and web designers on requirements and projects as required
• Creation/updating of Bid Toolkit, to help streamline the bid submission process
• Review of all bid materials to ensure relevance/accuracy/adherence to the FIMMA style guide
• Creation of standard Day of Tender processes to ensure all stakeholders have consistent workflows in place
