We are excited to offer a permanent opportunity for a Billing Team Leader role in the Billing team.
The primary purpose of this role is to lead the Billings team. This role will be the point of contact for all team members, This role is a development and succession plan into other leadership roles within Retail or Altogether Teams.
This role is required to support and oversee all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and accountabilities outlined in the respective Agent L1, L2, L3 & 2IC Position Description. In addition, they are required to also support additional leadership activities and manage the day-to-day operations of the team and supporting the Billing 2IC.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all customer escalations and complaints through to solution and implement preventative solutions
- Manage the billing schedule specifically for large commercial and assigned sites ensuring any anomalies are seen through to solution
- Manage all metering delays and meter data ensuring the Billing and Billing Admin team are set up to bill successfully without delay
- Manage all adjustment approvals within delegation
- Management and creation of the monthly billing schedule
- Report billing delays for large commercial and assigned sites to management as required
- Manage billing queries, complaints, and ombudsman complaints through to solution and closure
- Responsible for ensuring that all Billing Administration tasks and investigations are completed
- Stay up to date on the latest industry changes, trends, technology, and best practice
Please note the following information regarding the role and eligibility:
- To be eligible, you must have completed your probation period and not be on a contract/maximum term role with Altogether.
- To be eligible, you must be able to work a minimum 4 business days each week (Monday to Friday).
- Skills and experience of a level 3 role is preferable.
This position requires a strong customer and people focus and commitment to ensure that KPIs, goals and targets are met and reported on. The Team Leader is responsible for implementing strategies that team members use to achieve their goals, assigning tasks based on each member’s strengths and skills and offering and/or sourcing the training necessary. They are responsible for inspiring and motivating team members with regular encouragement, keeping the enthusiasm going by providing individualized coaching when needed and creating a trusting culture.
All functions are to be performed in accordance with each client’s contract specifications, Altogether’s company policies and regulatory requirements, and contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the company.
