Due to an internal promotion, we have an opportunity for a superstar Billings and Accounts Receivable Officer to join the team. You will be working with a collaborative team globally, running the AR function within our new Sydney office.
You will be the key person to manage all the end-to-end transactional processing including ensuring prebilling accuracy through variance investigations and identification of data anomalies, client billing/invoicing, receivables management, contract interpretation through to general ledger entries and Accounts Receivable reconciliations. You will bring your exceptional experience in a similar capacity to enhance the function.
We are hands on in approach – we need a person to hit the ground running and make an impact with all our stakeholders.

Come and take a look if you have:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Billing/Accounts Receivable function including demonstrated experience liaising with debtors regarding invoicing obligations and payment
- High level interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with external and internal clients on a professional level (verbal and written)
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in billings and Accounts Receivable activities
- Deadline focused and ability to manage expectations
- Well-developed personal work organisation and time management skills
- Demonstrated initiative and proactive approach
- Team experience, collaborative work ethic and the ability to work autonomously
- Ability to interpret company policies and procedures and show diplomacy and assertiveness in applying these policies
- Fundamental understanding of debits and credits used in the creation of monthly Accounts Receivable journals and Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Willingness to develop skill set aligned with core Financial Control disciplines
You’ll be a success in this role if you can bring:
- Familiarity with contracts
- Demonstrated practice in Accounting or Finance related support functions
- Experience using Deltek (Vantagepoint)
- Experience with online banking platforms (Westpac, CBA, HSBC).
