About the Role:
Are you a seasoned professional with a knack for organization? We're seeking a Board Secretary to provide essential secretariat support to our Board of Directors and Board Committees. In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with our Company Secretary/General Manager Corporate Services and the Office of the CEO to uphold best practice governance processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your contribution will be integral in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our governance structures.
About You:
This role for a candidate who thrives in an organized environment. We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, with a keen eye for detail and a clear understanding of operational intricacies. If you're a self-starter with a passion for supporting board-level decision-making, we want to hear from you.
Selection Criteria:
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of three years' experience providing secretariat support to Boards and/or complex committees.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, capable of producing high-quality material for diverse audiences.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to work autonomously.
- Proficiency in PC applications, including document development and formatting.
- While not mandatory, tertiary qualifications in business administration or governance practice will be highly regarded.
- A demonstrated commitment to ACCPA's values and a genuine passion for aged care.
