St Francis de Sales Regional College in Leeton are looking for a suitably experienced Boarding Administration Support Officer, temporary position (term-time only) to commence Tuesday 30 January 2024.
St Francis De Sales Regional College Leeton is a Day & Weekly Boarding Co-Educational School under the direction of the Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga (CEDWW). All staff support the Catholic ethos of the school in their relationships with staff, students and parents and in the manner in which they undertake their roles.
The Boarding Administration Support Officer must exercise professional leadership, to support the College community efficiently and effectively.

Days and Hours of work:
Monday 2:30pm to 8:30pm (30 minute break)
Tuesday to Thursday 3pm to 9pm (30 minute break)

Your new role:
The Boarding Administration Support Officer (BASO) has a key role in managing student attendance, clerical support and reception duties in the Boarding Office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- The BASO must have the ability to work in a team environment in line with the concept of teams and the organisational structure of the College.
- The BASO works towards the achievement of the College's Vision and Goals by the effective management of duties assigned.
- Supports the climate of excellence in all aspects of College life by setting, maintaining and modelling high standards in all areas of responsibility.
- Take ownership of and complete all compliance and risk management-related requirements according to CEDWW and the Department of Education (utilising the knowledge and support of relevant staff members to ensure accuracy and completeness).
- Maintain and update all electronic and paper-based records for safekeeping and easy reference, in relevant files and databases (e.g. Reach, G-drive); striving to incorporate streamlined ways of working by implementing continuous improvement initiatives for the College.
- Front of House reception for all people entering / exiting the Boarding areas.
- Supervision and support of students / staff in their evening routine in the female dormitories.
- Provide support in communication to the boarding community through Reach and Social Media.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current First Aid accreditation
- Current Working with Children's Check
Skills and Attributes:
- Prior experience in a boarding school desirable
- Medical experience desirable
- Previous experience within an operational, dynamic related setting (preferred but not essential)
- Experience in Student Management system
