Southern Cross Marine Supplies is a subsidiary of Superior Food Group. Due to the continual growth of our organisation, we are currently looking for Boarding Officer / Sale to mainly work on weekends with some work involved on weekdays also, to join our team in Gladstone.

Overview

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, it is a casual position that would include but not limited to the following tasks:

Your day to day will look something like this: 

• Ensure the safe co-ordination of vessel operational requirements and vessel movements at Gladstone Harbour.
• Communicate with local agencies on daily work matters
• Deliver goods locally
• Handle cargo documentations, invoices and inwards/outwards shipment
• Monitor ship arrival and departure
• Prepare quotations
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager.

All about you: 

• Must be available to work on weekends and some weekdays.
• Previous experience as Boarding Officer is advantageous. However, full training provided for the right candidate
• Must have own car and license
• Strong knowledge and focus on WHS procedures.
• Great communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivation and an unending desire to Microsoft Suit.
