WA Haulage Repairs is one of the leading servicing, repair, and fabrication commercial haulage companies.
We are currently looking for an experienced Body Builder Fabricator to join our team based in Kewdale.
To be considered for this position, you will need to hold trade qualifications and a minimum of 3 years experience in welding and fabrication.
You will also need:
- Full unrestricted Australian working rights
- A comprehensive toolset
- Full, valid drivers Licence
- Experience with parts allocation to service reports
- Experience with Vehicle Fit outs
- Aluminium welding experience
- Plasma, MIG and TIG welding experience
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
You will be responsible for welding and fabrication repairs modifications to road transport equipment. This will include:
- Fabrication and welding
- Custom Repairs
- Manufacture of subframes for cranes and trucks
- Tipper repairs
- A Frame Manufacture
- General trailer repairs and fabrication/trailer refloors / a frame reproduction / suspension repairs /custom modifications
- Fitting of Tail lifts
- Working with deadlines
- Working within budgets
- Maintaining a safe working area
- Fit up of skip loaders and hook lifts
- Parts allocation to service reports
- Manufacture of custom truck trays
This is a full time position working Monday -Thursday 6:00am to 4:00pm + Friday 6:00am to 3:00pm (and Saturdays if required) 5:00am to 9:00am.
