The Role: We're seeking an experienced Boilermaker Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to work independently, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work autonomously.

You'll play a pivotal role in manufacturing components from engineering drawings, participating in both client and in-house rebuilds and repairs, as well as contributing to our growing inventory through service exchange rebuilds.

 You’ll also be instrumental in creating new builds for weldment assemblies, ensuring efficient assembly and adherence to our high standards of quality and innovation. Working closely with our mechanical and engineering teams, you'll help design and manufacture top-quality products, showcasing your expertise in a dynamic environment committed to excellence.

Location: Our new workshop is located at 11 Archimedes Drive in Forrestdale. The facility boasts ample parking and a vehicle wash pad with hot wash capabilities, enhancing convenience and efficiency for our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute precision fabrication and welding tasks, adhering to quality assurance standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings to plan workflow efficiently.
• Carry out structural repairs during a component rebuild.
• Manufacture components from start to finish following drawings.
• Assist with component tear down reports & magnetic particle tests.
• Accurately identify repair times to assist job estimation.

Must-Have:

• A commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Great attitude and strong work ethic
• AUS/NZ Recognised Trade Certificate.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Boilermaker Fabricator.
• Proficiency in GMAW & FCAW.
• Ability to pass qualification tests to AS/NZS 1554.1 Part 1.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and fabrication techniques.
• Valid C Class Drivers Licence (or above).
• Licenses/Tickets - LF.

Desirable - Not Essential:

• Licenses/Tickets - DG, RB, EWP.
• Basic Computer Skills.
