Form of workQube Bulk & Ports have had an opportunity become available for an experienced Boiler Maker to join our well established operation based at the Utah Point Port Facility across our Fixed Plant Machinery.
This role is responsible for the mechanical inspection, light fabrication and repair of all QUBE Fixed and Mobile Plant Equipment, the reporting of relevant site activities and managing the quality of work performed.
• Location: Utah Point Port Facility, Port Hedland
• Roster: 8 & 6 - Day and Night shift
• Residential: Housing allowance payment provided

Key Competencies/Skills
- Strong Boilermaker skills in all aspects of light fabrication and repair
- Assist in delivering effective mechanical decisions to ensure plant reliability and operability
- Have a good understanding and commitment to mechanical statutory obligations
- Good time management and communication with other work groups
- Safety focused and work well in a team environment
- Experience in a mining environment
What does the ideal candidate bring to Qube
- Boilermaker Trade Certificate – Essential
- Experience in Fixed Plant and Mobile Plant Mining Equipment
- Minimum of two years mining experience – Desired but not essential
- High risk licence, EWP, fork lift - Highly desirable
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people.
- Suitable skills using Microsoft Office, Excel and Power point
- Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
- Ability to work well within a small team environment Qualifications and Experience
