The projects teams at Granny Smith have an opportunity for a Coordinator: Projects to join their team.
Role Details:
Reporting to the Superintendent: Projects at Granny Smith, you will be responsible for the coordination of capital infrastructure related projects including construction, installation, repair, improvement, movement, decommission and demolition of facilities and associated underground and surface infrastructures. To meet current and anticipated capital project demand in accordance with Gold Fields standards while maintaining compliance with relevant legislative and statutory requirements.

This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.

About the role:
Proactively seek stakeholder engagement for all projects, and effectively communicate relevant information;
Scope and generate project schedules, and actively track these projects to ensure timely completion;
Actively track project costs to ensure compliance to budgeted expenditure;
Proactively monitor and promote safety with Business Partners and Contractor groups;
Technical report compilation, including preparation of drawings, figures, and tables;
Enhancing the capability of the business to achieve improved performance and growth by actively contributing to business and cultural improvement initiatives, encouraging team members to participate and identify barriers to goal achievement.
About you:
Possess a Project Management qualification
Post graduate qualifications in mechanical engineering /trade qualifications is desirable
Proven experience in a similar role working on pipework and pumping in an underground mining environment is desirable
Demonstrate application of continuous improvement ideas
Project management experience on infrastructure projects
A valid Driver's Licence
Highly competent in Microsoft office, Project, Excel, other software such as Deswik, AutoCAD
