Your duties:

You will be an integral part of our established team of Boilermakers and Fitters, working collaboratively in a positive environment. Your key responsibilities include:

• Ensure that all welding preparations angles, root faces, and root gaps comply with the Welding Procedure Specification. 
• Fabrication items in accordance with the Code, Specification, and Drawings. 
• Comply with the requirements of the Quality Management System. 
• Work safely in accordance with the OHS System and have regarded for the Health and Safety of your fellow workers. 
• Ensure all off-cuts are either returned to stored or disposed of in the provided areas.
• Complete all allocated work in accordance with the Welding Procedure in a timely manner.
• Ensure current qualification of any Welding Procedures are being used. 
• Ensure welding consumables used are the correct type and size as specified. 

To be successful, you must:

• Have a recognized Fabrication Qualification. 
• Have a minimum of 3 years working experience as a Boilermaker/Pipe Fitter in a workshop or Mine Site. 
• Must have Permanent Residency or be an Australian Citizen. 
• Willing to complete a Tig Tack test and straight forward pipe fit up.
• Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings and P&DIs. 
• Ability to read and understand Welding Procedures. 
• Can collaborate well with other people, as well as individually. 
• Having a Welding qualification would be an advantage!
