Successful Boning Room Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities, ensuring optimal production output while adhering to my client's policies related to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), Quality Assurance, Environmental Standards, and HR systems.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and clear direction to the production team.
- Plan, organise, and execute daily operations to meet or exceed company expectations.
- Increase production efficiency while controlling costs and maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure timely delivery of production targets and maintain product quality.
- Manage employee performance, development, and engagement effectively.
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilise assets to produce optimal results.
- Monitor operations and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Uphold and promote a strong plant safety culture and compliance with safety policies.
- Address workforce challenges and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Minimum two years of supervisory experience or similar role preferred.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Technical knowledge of meat processing, product presentation, and food safety practices.
- Dependable and flexible, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
