This is a Part Time role.
We're looking for a bookkeeper to join our awesome small team in Darwin CBD. We are an events management & entertainment company; therefore more hours will be available for the right candidate willing to work outside of the below scope.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will include following:
- Processing of source documents and coding
- Bank account, credit card and loan account reconciliations
- Invoicing
- Taking charge of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Processing Payroll and superannuation
- Budgets & running costs
- End of month & post event reconciliations
- Preparation of BAS and IAS reporting
- Ad hoc client based administration
- Ad hoc assistance with in house systemisation and development
About you:
To be successful in securing this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping
- Minimum 2 Years hands on bookkeeping experience
- Previous experience in a similar role where you have dealt with a variety of clients and industries
- Experience working across multiple software systems including XERO, MYOB, DEXT, DEPUTY, Asana or Click up to name a few.
- Highly self-motivated with great time management
- Committed to continuing professional development
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Well presented with good ethics and a responsible attitude
