Accounts Receivable OfficerRole duties
- Debt collection, including liaison with parents. Debt Collection is in accordance with the school Fee Policy and includes written and verbal follow up communication.
- Calculating and discussing payment plans with parents responsible for the fee account.
- Processing charges and credits in the Accounts Receivable system
- Maintain family accounts in the TASS database.
- Maintain the established TASS database for general and confidential notes to create an audit trail of conversations, commitments, and agreements with parents.
- Assisting with production and distribution of monthly statements.
- Responding to email queries in a timely manner.
- Processing prompt discounts at the start of each term including Term 1 yearly discounts.
- Assisting with the bill run preparation.
- Assisting with monthly debtors reports for the Financial Controller.
- Assisting with Bursary applications .
- Assisting with processing Overseas students and bill run yearly.
- Assisting with end of year procedures
- AD hoc duties
Qualifications / Skills
- Blue Card
- Practical application in computerised accounting systems (TASS. Web will be a distinct advantage)
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable in a school
- Excellent numerical skills
- Time management is essential to meet deadlines
- A high attention to detail
- An ability to work independently as well as part of a team with a professional, courteous, and friendly manner
- Strong capability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Strong data management skills
- Certificate III in Business Administration (Finance) or working experience in a similar role.
This is a Permanent Full Time position, 5 days a week, 8am - 4pm, at our Reedy Creek campus.

The REEDY CREEK CAMPUS (on the southern end of the Gold Coast) has more than 2300 students on-site, from Early Learning through to Year 12. This campus also includes a Trade Training College.
Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 1200 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.
King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) offers places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
