Diesel Contract Services Pty Ltd (DCS), is a locally owned and operated business, established in 1980 to provide Industrial and Marine Diesel power generation and mechanical services throughout the Top End and are the service dealers for industrial and marine generator parts for Scania, Hatz, Isuzu, Hino, and Stamford. DCS have an excellent operations team, fleet of vehicles and a fully equipped workshop for manufacturing and servicing all sizes of generators. About the Role
Office Manager
- First point of contact for visitors, phone, and electronic communications
- Assisting with Business Contract management including servicing schedules and managing job allocations
- Statutory Registrations including Insurances and Contractor Accreditation Limited registration
- Asset and Equipment management
- Maintain Business and equipment licences and registrations and other Business Registers
- Assist with preparation of tender documents for lodgement
- Maintain office supplies
- Mail and document delivery and collection
- Maintain accurate and secure filing, archiving and data backups
Bookkeeping
- Data entry
- Bank and credit card account reconciliations
- Debtor and Creditor management
- Payroll processing and HR assistance
- Payroll, super and general ledger reconciliations, and super and IAS lodgements
- Australian Apprenticeship Claims
- GST, general ledger reconciliations and BAS reconciliations and lodgements
- Monthly, Quarterly and end of financial year reporting and processing
Required Skills and Experience
Essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility, ability to work within a team as well as autonomously
- Excellent customer service skills, experience, and ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
- In depth MYOB knowledge and experience
- Strong MS Office skills and experience
- Current National Criminal History Check
- Right to work in Australia evidence
Desirable
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting – highly desirable
- OH&S experience or ability to gain
- First Aid Certificate or ability to gain
