Belvidere Winery is an established winery in Langhorne Creek on South Australia's beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula. Producing quality wines and brands since 2000, Belvidere is a top-tier provider of contract processing, packaged wine, bulk wine, export solutions and grape-to-bottle strategy.
We are currently seeking a Bookkeeper in our City Officewhich situated on Eastwood SA 5063.
2. Work Schedule: Permanent Full-time
3. The main key duties include:
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
- Make sure accounting records maintained and updated timely and properly
- Manage creditors and debtors to improve cash flow
- Improve the efficiency of business process and effectiveness of internal control
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take full ownership of cashflow forecasting to manage and plan the working capital.
- Assist the external accountant with the lodgement of BAS/PAYG/Payroll tax/CTR.
- Independently lodge winery industry levies including Grape research levy, Wine grapes levy as well as Wine industry funds.
- Process fortnightly payroll via Xero and deal with employees’ enquiries regarding their PAYG/super/leave entitlements etc.
- Banking and bank reconciliations including business accounts and credit cards
- Setting up new suppliers and recording invoices
- Processing payments and managing creditors, including reconciling with suppliers and proposing creditors payment schedule
- Setting up new customers and raising invoices
- Preparing Accounts receivables statement and managing debtors collection
- Maintaining and updating FA register
- VINTRACE data reconciliation
- Assist on any ad hoc tasks with the leadership team
4. You should have:
• Tertiary degree in accounting
• Experience in accounting practice and / or industry
• Strong experience using MYOB & XERO accounting system and MS EXCEL
• Experience using VINTRACE wine industry software would be highly regarded
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Good interpretative and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to prioritise and work autonomously
• A team player with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Mandarin is preferable
