My client is a successful CA firm based in the Sydney CBD who are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team to due growth of their practice. This full services accounting firm boasts a strong reputation in the marketplace with a work environment second to none.
Working alongside the Accounting team, this role will include the opportunity to work in a training capacity for clients in relation to MYOB and Xero software and day-to-day management of their financials.
Some additional responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Payroll preparation, payment summaries and reconciliations
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and lodge BAS/IAS, monthly and quarterly
- Prepare payroll and superannuation payments
- Liaising with ASIC and ATO
- Attending client meetings with Accountants in person and electronically when required
Applicants:
- 2 or more years' experience in a similar role, ideally within an accounting firm
- Bookkeeping certification ideal but not essential
- Proficient with Xero and/or MYOB software
- Experienced with payroll processing
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
