Gas Electrical Powerzone is a well-established family business, specialising in the repair and maintenance of commercial kitchen appliances. We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable in-house bookkeeper/accounts person to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reviewing service reports detailing scope of work completed and costs before invoicing
- Bank reconciliation
- Preparation of IAS/BAS
- Weekly payroll for 10 staff
- Administrative tasks, including data entry & filing
Preferred Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Xero experience and knowledge of integrated software
- Strong eye for detail with a heavy focus on maintaining accuracy
- Ability to plan, organise and improve processes
- Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel and Word)
- Self management skills; time, initiative, problem solving
- Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a desire to be a committed team member
