About the Role
We are looking for a full-time or part-time bookkeeper for our office in Salisbury SA 5108. Your primary duties would include recording all transactions, trust account management, practice account management, reconciling accounts, and creating financial reports to share with management.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Record day-to-day monetary transactions
Trust Account and Practice Account management
Invoice and bill management
Follow up client payments
Budget development and management
Keep accurate financial records and ledgers
Balance books and double-check accounts for errors
Complete tax forms and assist in the tax preparation
Process accounts receivable
Issue financial statements, including bills and receipts
Manage payroll
Create financial reports for management
Skills & Qualifications
1+ years of bookkeeping experience
BS or higher in finance, accounting, or a related field
Strong skill in Microsoft Office Applications and Xero accounting software
Good written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with a diverse range of clients including non-English backgrounds
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Able to work independently and in a team
Demonstrated experience and understanding of trust accounting
