As a result of our sustained growth, ProBuild Australia is currently in search of an experienced bookkeeper to join our team in Adelaide. We are seeking a dedicated individual who is customer-focused, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed to excellence.

Position: Bookkeeper

Type: Permanent Part-Time

Location: Woodcroft, Adelaide

Reporting to: Director

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing of accounts payable, including matching purchase orders and reconciliations.
• Reconciliation of accounts against payment schedules and maintenance of appropriate records.
• Provision and development of ad hoc reporting as needed.
• Efficient payroll processing, including pays, leave adjustments, and payroll administration.
• Administration of payroll records and reconciliation of payroll-related payments in compliance with legislative requirements.
• Management of employee pay queries and resolution of payroll errors and invoicing issues.
• Ensuring accurate payroll and accounts payable processing through data verification checks and error resolution.
• Support ProBuild Australia with projects and tasks to achieve performance standards.

Experience Required:

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and judgment in problem-solving.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service focus and ability to handle multiple inquiries efficiently.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to engage in broader tasks and projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications; experience with MYOB is advantageous.
• Knowledge of payroll, superannuation, and taxation at a national level is highly beneficial.
