About the role….
We are looking for a fantastic communicator and someone with a willingness to learn and grow into an experienced bookkeeper to look after the accounts of a pool of clients.
Your daily responsibilities would be to:
- Provide high levels of customer service either via phone/email and in client meetings.
- Manage and look after a portfolio of clients, servicing them in all areas of bookkeeping including AR, AP, reconciliations, GL reviews, extensive payroll support (including Super, LSL, STP reporting, payroll tax reporting etc), IAS, BAS, TPAR, EOFY processes.
- Form good working relationships within our team.
About you….
- You have a 'can do' attitude. And are a ‘problem solver’.
- You have awesome communication skills.
- You have proven experience working in a team and work towards shared goals.
- You have sound technical skills using MYOB/Xero
- Understand relevant Australian GST, PAYG and NES legislation
- You have Intermediate skills in with Microsoft products
- You have a experience in a similar position, demonstrating your ability to effectively manage clients
- Desirable - you have a minimum of a Cert IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting
- An open mind and willingness to learn.

Location
We're based in Mitchell (free parking!!!) and we also work on site at various locations around Canberra.
Hours
Flexible. We have both full time and part time roles available. Importantly, we have all got our own families, so we get that people need to look after things other than work now and then. We are more interested in the results you deliver.

Payrate
Payrates will be individually negotiated based on hours of work offered, level of experience and qualifications.
