Based in Toowong, Brisbane, we are passionate about providing quality training and support to our clients. We seek a skilled Bookkeeper to join our operations team and contribute to our mission of excellence.

Position Summary: As a Bookkeeper at Techskill, you will play a vital role in managing our financial processes and supporting our clients. You will be responsible for tasks such as invoicing, reconciling, crediting, managing aged debtors, handling failed payments, and chasing outstanding invoices. Also, you will be able to provide phone support to clients, helping them with financial applications and addressing any questions they may have.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including invoicing, reconciling, and crediting
• Monitor and manage aged debtors, ensuring timely payment collection
• Handle failed payments and follow up on outstanding invoices
• Provide phone support to clients, assisting them with financial applications and inquiries
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth financial operations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of financial transactions

Requirements:

• At least two years of recent experience in bookkeeping
• Proficiency in Xero accounting software
• Knowledge of stripe payment gateway
• Strong knowledge of invoicing, reconciling, crediting, and managing aged debtors
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service and support over the phone
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Prior experience in a similar role within the training or education sector is a plus
• Note that this is a work-in-office role. We want you to be part of our in-office team.
