Due to our current Office Administrator / Bookkeeper retiring after 27 years with us, we are now seeking a highly organised, motivated person, with an exceptional eye for detail and accuracy to fill this position.
Qualifications & experience
- 5+ years experience and proven ability in providing a full range of Office Management & Bookkeeping duties including Financial Reporting.
- Diploma in Accounting or Certificate IV Accounting / Bookkeeping preferred.
- High Level of experience with Sybiz Vision & Visipay (preferred), Excel & Word.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly & effectively with colleagues & clients.
- Ability to work autonomously.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Office Administration Duties:- Answer telephone, Emailing, Filing, Order stationery & other consumables, Update various price lists, Process sales orders & supporting documentation for manufacturing, Process purchase orders, Book in freight. Administration support as required by the Manager.
- Bookkeeping Duties:-
- End to end Accounts payable & Accounts receivable.
- Bank reconciliations. Monitor Cash Flow
- Maintain Asset / Depreciation Register
- Monthly Journals including accruals & prepayments, General Leger Reconciliations
- Preparation of Monthly Financial Reports (TB, P&L, Balance Sheet, AP & AR), Preparation of annual financial reports for external Tax Accountant to complete Tax Return.
- Prepare and Submit Business Activity Statement (BAS) and IAS (PAYG)
- Process Weekly Payroll (Visipay), STP reporting, monthly superannuation and PRT Lodgement. Ensure compliance with end of year payroll processing and ATO requirements.
- Complete & submit Workers Compensation Claims. Submit Apprentice Incentive Claims
