The Role
We seek an experienced Bookkeeper on a permanent part-time basis to keep our finances organised with a focus on project tracking. We are very process-driven and follow standard operating procedures to maintain the highest level of quality for all of our projects and services.
Do you live and breathe numbers and spreadsheets? Do you throw your hands in the air when it reconciles? That’s what we’re looking for! But it’s not just the numbers. Be analytical. Be accurate and reliable. But don’t forget to be human!
You will be working at our Ultimo office for the benefits of team collaboration, osmosis of knowledge and social interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of financial records in Xero
- Maintenance of Dext, Float and FlowRev integrations
- Accounts Payable
- Assistance with Accounts Receivable
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Monthly management reports
- Payroll (monthly)
- Superannuation payments
- Tax obligations (IAS; BAS; Payroll Tax)
- Prepare annual business insurance and WC renewals
- Assist with special projects (such as custom financial reports; registrations; modelling)
Requirements
- 3 years experience using Xero accounting software
- 2 years experience in payroll
- Experience using extended financial tools such as Dext; Float; FlowRev or similar
- Proficiency in cloud-based systems such as Google Workplace
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
- You must have the right to work in Australia
- A police check is required as part of the final recruitment process (updated annually)
- Participate in our strong support of flu/COVID vaccination program (to satisfy contractual obligations to our customers)

This role is based in our Ultimo, Sydney office 20 hours per week. At the discretion of your manager, you may be permitted to work from home.
