Baseline Requirements:- Proficient in well-structured, complex 3D CAD modelling
- Excellent engineering drawing/drafting skills for production.
- Experienced in industry-standard CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, AutoCAD or similar.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, specifications, and regulations in all drawings.
- Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and material specifications to support procurement and manufacturing processes.
- Design for traditional and new manufacturing processes.
- Genuine, successful application of Design For Manufacture (DFM) principles.
- A strong ability to develop technical documents, specifications for mechanical components, assemblies, and systems and communicate them productively.
- Laser scanning or other methods of reality capture, point cloud management and reverse engineering.
- Ability to use Configurations/Model States within CAD.
- Ability to create a Macro/ilogic tool within CAD to drive automated functionality.
- Excellent knowledge & experience in cloud-based tools such as Google Drive, DropBox, OneDrive and project management tools such as Trello.
- Experience with MRP, ERP, PDM or PLM systems.
- A trade background and/or hands-on experience of manufacturing processes.
- An Australian Citizen who is eligible for baseline security clearance.
- Excellent communication - the remote working world calls for more efficient comms, plus we love to chat and share knowledge.
- Motivated problem solver and reporter - solve the problem, but don't keep the result to yourself, think back to point 1.
- Team player - Work together & utilise the wider team, this helps with points 1 & 2.
- Bring Energy - It's infectious and drives good outcomes from being invested in what you are doing. Often the driver and outcome of points 1, 2 & 3
