Bookkeeper

• Part-time. 
• You need to be located in Norhtern Rivers. 
• Work at home and with a friendly, ethical team & in a great office environment in Lennox Head. 
• Initially working up to 8 hours a week. Timing flexible. Role may grow.

A key role in the engine room of our business, providing bookkeeping support to the Administration Manager and Owner.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Bookkeeping Experience with Xero, Hubdoc
• Reconciling invoices in Hubdoc & sync to Xero
• Allocating invoices to projects accurately
• Understanding of GST
• Reconciling monthly trade accounts
• Generate financial reports through Xero.
• Weekly payroll
• Weekly batch payments to suppliers
• Mainly work from home mainly and occasional in Lennox Head
• Other Tasks as required (role may grow over time)

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous bookkeeping experience 
• Some knowledge of the building and construction industry
• Strong communication skills, including written communication.
• To be hard working and honest
• Strong time management skills
• The ability to multitask.
• Current driver’s license
• Own your own vehicle or otherwise reliable transport.
• To be accurate with your work and have a keen eye for detail.
• To be someone with strong collaboration skills that is happy to assist with any task.
• Access to fast & reliable internet and good phone reception.

Job Details:

• We are looking for an outstanding person to hit the ground running. 
• All relevant training will be provided. 
• Most work will be done from home on your computer.
• Contractor with your ABN
• Part-time, initially up to 8 hours a week
• Work from home and occasionally at Lennox Head. 
• Pay: $30 to $40 per hour depending on applicant.
