NDIS Bookkeeper

You will also provide support to our allied health practitioners to deliver quality outcomes for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the financial records of our NDIS participants.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and reports.
- Process invoices, receipts, and other financial documents efficiently and accurately.
- Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure precise financial reporting.
- Stay updated with NDIS rules and changes that may impact financial reporting and management.
- Maintain and expand our referrer relationships to foster continuous growth.
- Process billings for multiple funding streams – Private, Medicare, DVA, NDIS, HICAPS.
- Handle general administrative tasks including emails, calls, reporting, and filing.
- Assist with internal audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Manage administrative tasks related to the coordination of NDIS plans and funding.
- Ensure all compliance and documentation requirements are met and up to date.
- Perform any general ad-hoc administrative duties as required.
- Prepare and process payroll for all staff members, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Oversee financial planning and budgeting processes.
- Monitor cash flow and financial transactions to ensure the company's financial health.
- Liaise with external accountants and auditors to prepare annual accounts and tax returns.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience in administration and bookkeeping.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organisation skills with a high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
- Experience with NDIS and PRODA systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience in payroll processing and financial planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
