The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team ASAP. Supporting the CFO, you will provide day to day accounting support to the business whilst streamlining operations for the accounting team. Your core duties will include;
- General accounting - accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, credit control, debtor management
- Produce financial reports using Xero
- End to end payroll processing
- Assist in the preparation of cash flow projections
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS
- Job Management - purchase orders and invoicing
- Purchasing and tracking purchases, organising orders, price comparisons, negotiating with suppliers
- Previous Bookkeeping or Assistant Accountant experience
- Accounting Degree or Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting (ideal)
- Xero experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve
- Highly organised and detail oriented
- Hybrid work model (2 days in office, 3 days WFH)
- Office is walking distance from St Leonards station
