Bookkeeper / Account Services Assistant

An immediate opportunity is available for an experienced finance officer/bookkeeper to join this global consulting firm to provide finance support on a national basis to their diverse clients. You will become an integral member of their dynamic and supporting finance team.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Finance Manager your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Banking Assistance - using various on-line banking platforms
Monitoring and handling client funds
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Journal entries
Dividend distributions
Updating client chart of accounts
Assisting and monitoring ATO registration and obligations including GST, PAYG, STP
Draft and lodge BAS
Assist with statutory reporting
Various Ad hoc duties as required
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role you will have a minimum of 3 years' bookkeeping/finance experience as well as;
Experience working within a professional services firm will be highly regarded
Proven experience working with external clients/customers
High attention to detail and accuracy
Intermediate Excel and Word skills, previous experience using Insol6/MYOB will be highly regarded
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Bookkeeping qualifications highly regarded
