We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated bookkeeper to join our remote team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for experienced bookkeeper to join our remote team. The successful candidates will work from home, providing high-quality bookkeeping services to a variety of small businesses using MYOB, Quickbooks Online, and Xero.
Responsibilities:
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Process payroll, including leave reconciliations, super, PAYG, payroll tax, and workcover
- Prepare and lodge BAS/IAS
- Assist with year-end tax and accounting compliance
- Liaise with external accountants, employees, and directors of client businesses
- Handle adhoc bookkeeping tasks as requested by clients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience
- Certificate IV in Accounting and/or Bookkeeping
- Strong practical experience in MYOB, Quickbooks Online, and/or Xero
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proactive, quick learner, and adaptable to various work environments
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup
- Current driver's license (preferred but not essential)
