Ulverscroft Australia is the local subsidiary of an overseas specialist Library supplier of Large Print and Talking books. It has been servicing the Australian Public Library market for over 30 years in Australia.
Your role
This pivotal role is charged with responsibility of managing our financial transactions and record keeping.
- Allocate and record remittance payments into Sage.
- Enter supplier bills to MYOB, ensure timely payment.
- Payroll and superannuation in MYOB
- Maintain Balance Sheet P&L
- Compile annual work papers for accountants.
- Maintain proforma account balances
- GST Reconciliation.
- Month end journals, reconciliation,
- IAS and BAS preparation for external accountants
- Prepare customer statements of account.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Weekly and monthly reporting to operations director.
- Sundry administrative tasks.
- Aged Debtors - Chasing LGA accounts for unpaid invoices
Your attributes
- Minimum Certificate IV Bookkeeping & Accounting.
- Minimum 5 years bookkeeping experience.
- Experience using MYOB and Sage accounting software.
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Great attention to detail

Conditions:
- This is a full-time work-from-home position.
- It includes a 3-month handover/training period with current staff.
- A starting salary of $60k plus superannuation is available for the right candidate.
