Bookkeeper/Accountant

We are looking for a part-time Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team at Gutter-Vac Franchise Head Office at Northgate Qld 4013.

Key responsibilities include:

• Data Entry.
• Administrative Tasks.
• Contract Invoicing.
• Bookkeeping duties including work with software programmes (Xero and MYOB).
• Making and receiving phone calls with clients as required.
• General assistance to General Manager and Director.
• Tax Law and Fair Work research and application.

Key Selection Criteria

Qualifications and Skills

• 1+years’ experience in MYOB and Xero.
• Microsoft Office – Word and Excel knowledge is a must.
• Excellent attention to details and accuracy.
• The ability to communicate professionally both verbally and written, with a satisfactory level of English commands to deal directly with variety of clients.
• Able to work independently, prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Able to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and hand sensitive information.
• Fast learner.
