Experienced Bookkeeper for an immediate start in Rockhampton or Emerald
Your new company
Join a construction firm based in Central Queensland. With a focus on streamlining the construction process for their clients by employing skilled and dynamic tradesmen across multiple disciplines, including but not limited to carpenters, electricians, plumbers and painters.
Your new role
In your new role as bookkeeper you will find yourself carrying out duties including, but not limited to;
- Preparing and lodging BAS
- End-to-end process of payroll
Balance sheet reconciliations
End-to-end Accounts Payable function
End-to-end Accounts Receivable function
- Weekly and Monthly Bank reconciliations
- Ad hoc administrative duties as required
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will require the following;
- Experience using Xero accounting package
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in a similar account related role
Strong numeracy skills and with high attention to detail
Friendly and professional demeanour with a strong work ethic
Advanced computer literacy; fluent in Word, Excel and Outlook
