Bookkeeper/Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant who can operate independently and is comfortable with taking on some broader responsibilities outside of a traditional bookkeeper role. You will have a “can do” attitude and have an appreciation for excellent customer service.  

The role is on a part time basis, circa 30 hours per week, and is based in the head office. This will suit somebody looking to work school hours or a reduced working week.  The role will report to the Finance Director.

You will be responsible for:

• All bookkeeping functions and month end processes
• Payroll for a small team and assistance in HR matters
• Receipt and costing of inwards goods
• Daily bank reconciliation
• Supplier payments
• Foreign exchange
• Overseeing other office duties as required
• Providing support to the CEO and Finance Director 

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• At least five years’ experience as a bookkeeper/accountant 
• MYOB or similar accounting package experience 
• Previous payroll exposure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office software
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organisational, time management, and multitasking skills
• An ability to work independently 
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Punctuality and reliability
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
