Your new company

Our client is a growing residential builder with interests across detached and medium-density builds. Currently delivering 200+ homes a year and with a strong growth forecast, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced estimator to join their team in a key BOQ estimator role.

Your new role

Working as part of a team of 3 estimators, this role will see the successful candidate being responsible for

• Producing and developing Bill of Quantities to allow for prompt estimation of projects
• Managing and updating Variation Price Books when and if required
• Liaising with suppliers
• Assist in producing direct building costs for retail/sale prices and producing pricing and accurate contract output descriptions of Standard, Variation and Display options for the product range.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role you will ideally possess

• Previous experience in a residential BOQ role is preferred, but production estimating background is considered.
• Strong construction knowledge and ability to interpret drawings
• Databuild and Framework software skills
• High levels of attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
