Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Estimate repair projects on schools, businesses and domestic projects
- Assist project manager in the creation of Requests for Quotations (RFQ’s)
- Breakdown scopes of RFQ’s into relative trade disciplines
- Ensure responses to RFQ’s have all necessary information to deliver projects
- Lead an Estimating team and manage Scope of Works for all projects
- Review Estimates prior to submission
- Ensure purchasing quote register & trade quote summaries are kept up to date
- Liaise with the nominated supervisor for site specific information
- Provide assistance for supervisors and contract administrators
- Assist supervisors and contract administrators with allocating trades to works
- Ensure all reporting guidelines & timeframes are met
Key Selection Criteria:

- Minimum of 5 years Estimating experience and the ability to estimate for projects up to $5m
- Strong computer literacy
- Excellent communication skills – both written & verbal
- Demonstrated negotiation & analytical skills
- Ability to work in changing work environments
- Strong time management & organisational skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with both internal & external stakeholders
- Honest nature, positive attitude & sound work ethic
- Current & valid motor vehicle licence
