ABOUT THE ROLE

The Branch Administrator will report into the Branch Manager.  You will be providing administrative support to all the members of the branch which may include, paperwork, invoicing, banking, reporting and general administration duties that are outlined by the Branch Manager. It will suit someone who thrives on providing excellent customer service, who is self-motivated and has a ‘can do’ attitude. Experience in an administrative role, reception or similar position will be highly regarded.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

  • You will be the first point of contact for customers and builders who come into the branch
  • General account keeping duties such as receipts, invoicing, and collating financials
  • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
  • Ensure all records are marked, arranged and filed accurately
  • Processing of the inwards goods paperwork
  • Branch planning abilities
  • Organising and maintaining file systems and records
  • Other administrative tasks as outlined by the Branch Manager

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Proficient in Google Suite of Apps (we don't use Outlook)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills
  • Ability to work on your own and in a team thrive in a team environment
  • Someone who is organised and a whiz at all things to do in the office
  • Has some product experience with timber and building materials
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
