Role Overview:
The position involves frequent travel within Toowoomba and surrounding areas, with the expectation that you will regularly engage with clients for account management and business development purposes.
Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Expand our presence in specific areas and increase the number of rental units in our offerings
- Connect with clients to enhance business, handle inquiries, and gather feedback
- Cultivate a robust network of satisfied customers to optimize future business opportunities
- Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), generate monthly reports, and maintain positive financials for the branch
Branch Management:
- Manage the availability of our vehicle fleet and resources while adhering to the branch's budget
- Ensure the branch team delivers outstanding service and adheres to quality standards
- Oversee branch staff, inventory, equipment, and facility maintenance
- Collaborate closely with departments at Head Office to smoothly achieve company goals
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development/sales, preferably in construction or related service industries
- Demonstrated success in client relationship management and meeting sales targets
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget and P&L management
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership skills to inspire and guide the team towards excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Tertiary qualifications in sales, commerce, business, or related fields
- Valid driver's license and a willingness to travel regularly for client meetings
