Exciting Opportunity in Agribusiness Leadership
Join The Pursehouse Rural Group, a leading independent agribusiness specialising in agricultural products, services, equipment and advice across 27 locations in North West NSW and Queensland. With a strong commitment to serving farmers and supporting rural communities, we are seeking a driven Branch Manager to lead our Warwick QLD Branch and spearhead sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
- Lead and motivate the branch team to deliver exceptional customer service and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers to expand market depth.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimise sales performance.
- Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and implement business plans, product forecasts and strategies.
- Manage branch operations, including inventory management, budgeting, and employee development.
- Negotiate and collaborate with suppliers to maintain successful product lines and identify new opportunities.
- Work closely with our agronomy team and independent agronomists to forecast customer needs and ensure product availability.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven track record in driving sales growth and achieving sales targets.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Relevant qualification in agribusiness, management, or equivalent.
- Broad knowledge and experience in core agribusiness functions.
- Excellent analytical and planning skills with a focus on business development.
- Outstanding communication skills to build positive relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Effective organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to translate business strategy into operational plans.
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a sound knowledge of vehicle safety.
- LF Forklift License or willingness to obtain.
- Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
