Fertec has been operating since 2021, providing broadacre and horticulture customers and soil remediation service providers Australia-wide with a range of inputs that promote soil and water sustainability. Fertec also supplies application equipment as well as contract application. About the role
We are looking for a dynamic sales leader, who enjoys the challenge of developing new markets and working in a small team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for growing Fertec’s national sales and work closely with end customers to understand their needs and build loyalty through delivering effective solutions. Extensive travel is required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and growing sales Australia-wide
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers and adhering to customer care standards
- Identifying customer needs and developing effective solutions utilising Fertec’s products and application equipment
- Developing and implementing market development and sales strategies and plans
- Producing sales reports, forecasts and analysis
- Staying up-to-date with competitor activities, market trends and industry news
- Working closely with the marketing team on marketing programs and activities
- Identifying new business opportunities
About you
- 3-5 years' sales experience, preferably in the agribusiness industry
- Field experience with the ability to assess customer needs, identify problems and develop creative solutions
- Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to prioritise whilst maintaining a degree of flexibility
- Current clean C Class driver’s licence (minimum)
- Tertiary education in agriculture, agribusiness or similar field (desirable)
