Roles & Responsibilities
As the selected candidate, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing the day-to-day operations. This can include but is not limited to:
- Plan & direct the day-to-day operation & management of our Port Hedland commercial tyre store.
- Lead the team (3 Tyre Fitters & 1 Sales Administrator) to ensure efficient allocation of work, effectively meet customer requirements & maintain a high level of customer service.
- Develop & implement strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales & increase profitability, i.e. customer visits, etc.
- Work in accordance with company guidelines and values when dealing with customers, staff and suppliers.
- Control and monitor operational expenses, store activities & manage the stores performance against P&L’s to achieve sale & profit targets.
- Monitor and control inventory, complete regular stocktakes to minimise variances.
- Manage employee performance and motivate the team to work cohesively and harmoniously.
Skills & Experience
- Experience - Minimum 2 years Tyre Store Management
- Strong knowledge of various tyre brands, sizes, and applications.
- Valid driver’s licence & Forklift ticket (desirable).
- Tyre Fitting experience.
