As a Branch Manager, here’s what a typical day might look like for you:
- You’ll have safety at the heart of how you work, with a real focus on your team going home safe everyday.
- You’ll lead and motivate your team, inspiring them to do great work and progress within the business.
- You’ll drive the growth and profitability of the branch through your people, making sure it runs well.
- You'll oversee the warehouse picking, packing and dispatch of stock and customer orders.
- Working directly with our Trade based clients to ensure their needs are being met.
- Working hard but having fun!
Ready for the challenge? Here’s what you’ll need.
Ideally, you’ll have a background in retail, logistics or building products industry, but what matters most is that you’ll really care about your work, the customers, and the people you work with.
You’ll also need:
- An understanding of leading and meeting occupational health & safety requirements
- Experience in managing budgets, profit and loss statements and stock management systems.
- Experience in cash handling and financial transaction management.
- To be a team player: hard-working, humble and ready to get the job done!!
- Ability to plan and deliver regular stock control audits.
- The ability to foster strong relationships with team members, peers, customers and leaders.
- Lots of enthusiasm, initiative, problem solving abilities and a reliable nature
