The Opportunity
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Branch Manager to join our team based in our Logan Region.
In this pivotal role, you will manage daily operational objectives for our contract, which includes a white and blue-collar workforce of over 70 employees.
- Lead and support a blue-collar workforce of operations and drivers, and a white-collar workforce of Operation managers, supervisors, administrative, and customer service staff.
- You will lead and drive safety improvements in everything we do.
- Focus on maintaining excellent relationships with Logan Council and delivering service excellence.
- Vendor management of 3rd party suppliers and subcontractors.
About You
You have experience with the chain of responsibility and government regulations governing Transport operations, a background in Logistics, and experience running large fleet operations.
- You have demonstrated experience with cost drivers in a business that influence the cost of operation and services, and measures of control.
- You have demonstrated experience in building and using KPI dashboards to continually improve driver productivity and commercial outcomes each day.
- Focus on maintaining excellent relationships with Logan Council and delivering service excellence.
- Experience working within a contract-to-serve logistics model (Relationships, operations, and responsibilities are covered by a legal contract).
- Experience working within a unionised workforce.
- Managing 3rd party suppliers and subcontractors.
