The Brand and Communications Advisor plays a critical role in the City’s communications functions, handling communications requests from various parts of the organisation and ensuring timely delivery. It provides the successful applicant with an exciting and varied role in a dynamic work environment. This position is being offered as a fixed-term, job share opportunity to cover a period of parental leave.
Key responsibilities include:- Develop and implement communications plans which support the City of Fremantle’s projects, corporate objectives and activities aimed community relations and stakeholder communications.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders working collaboratively to ensure timely and effective delivery of communications that support and promote City of Fremantle projects, programs, events and activities.
- Work with the City’s senior leadership team to support their business objectives in external stakeholder consultation and promotion of their programs.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in developing and leading the implementation of a variety of communications plans and promotional activities across multiple channels. They will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to take complex ideas and simplify them in messages audiences can understand and relate to.
