It’s an exciting time to be a part of the Fortescue family and we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Communications professional to join our team to drive and deliver our internal communications and employee engagement strategy.
With a focus on delivering innovative and engaging communications for our teams around the world, and acting as a trusted and skilled business partner to major portfolios, including Technology, you will play a leading role in continuously evolving our internal communications channels to build clarity and connection across the business. The role will cover many areas of communications, including developing bespoke plans for major projects and initiatives, writing, design, content creation and evolving innovative ways to engage our teams with the messages and information they care about, supporting overall business objectives. We are seeking a dynamic communications professionals with the ability to embed our unique culture and values, and drive strong employee engagement
Key Responsibilities
- Develop content and support delivery and measurement of company-wide internal communications channels.
- Be a trusted advisor to key business partners and develop strategic communications plans to support their objectives.
- Protect and support Fortescue’s unique culture through engagement opportunities that have impact.
- Support leadership with key engagement activities.
- Support events for internal activities, community engagement, and high-profile external activity.
- Ensure all content is underpinned by our Values and produced in line with global communications, brand and market disclosure guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience
- A strong background in internal communications, with experience or interest in media, multi-channel content creation, public relations and events.
- A bachelor’s degree in communications or related discipline/field such as public relations, digital communications or journalism is preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of tailoring writing and content for various channels and audiences.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
