Our Hays Sydney office is seeking a Brand and Communications Manager to join our internal marketing team. It is a full time 10-month fixed term contract covering parental leave and commencing immediately. This role oversees the 4 staff in the brands and Communications team and reports directly to Marketing Director ANZ.
Your new role
The purpose of this role is to increase brand visibility and presence and position Hays as a customer-centric organisation committed to investing in lifelong partnerships that empower people and organisations to succeed.
Implement a Brand and Comms strategy, bringing together internal and external communication plans, employer branding activity as well as delivering against strategic marketing plans to support business growth strategies that focuses on brand development, candidate attraction/engagement and demonstrated innovation and value to clients - resulting in fee growth
Develop and maintain a high-performance culture by clearly communicating expectations, regularly monitoring objectives and key result areas
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers to maximise investment and impact
Monitor market developments, insight and competitor activity to drive continuous improvement and innovative delivery of our plans
What you'll need to succeed
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business or Communications
An assertive and confident leader with ability to manage a team
Extensive Marketing experience spanning the full Marketing mix gained either agency or client side
Extensive experience in briefing / managing agencies and creative teams to deliver on time and within budget
Strong strategic influencing and stakeholder management skills
Highly developed communication skills both written and verbal
Passion for marketing and consultative problem solving through a customer-centric lens
Strong commercial acumen
Track record of being a creative thinker, collaborative problem solver and taking initiative
