About the role
Scott Carver is seeking a dynamic and experienced Brand and Communications Manager to join our team and spearhead the internal rollout and external go-to-market implementation of our new brand evolution across all platforms and channels.
As the Brand and Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining our new brand identity and personality, ensuring consistency, visibility, and alignment with our core values and business objectives. In short, we want you to help the studio successfully implement our brand evolution work currently being designed by one of Australia’s leading branding agencies.
We are looking for someone who is energetic, hungry, and wanting to stamp their talent on a 40-year-old architecture studio that is launching into its next generation.
Ideally in your career to date you have led a brand evolution or re-brand in an end-to-end capacity or have played a key role in doing so - and you are ready to take this challenge to lead with all the lessons you have learned.
This is a 12 month full-time, contract position with possibility to move to permanent thereafter.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, analyse and embrace the work-in-progress brand evolution work directly alongside our external branding agency and company director leading the project.
Develop and execute comprehensive branding and communication strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement across various channels including digital, social media, print, and events.
Collaborate closely with the directors, external branding agency, and our internal admin and design teams to create compelling brand assets, messaging, and content that effectively communicate our brand story, values, and unique selling propositions.
Manage all aspects of brand implementation, including but not limited to logo usage, brand guidelines, brand messaging, and visual identity across all touchpoints including for studio pitch presentations and tender submissions.
Oversee the production of marketing materials, promotional collateral, and advertising campaigns to ensure brand consistency and quality standards are met.
Monitor and analyse brand performance metrics and market trends to evaluate the effectiveness of branding initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for optimisation.
Act as a brand ambassador both internally and externally, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, partners, and media outlets to enhance brand reputation and visibility.
Lead internal brand training sessions to ensure all staff members are aligned with the brand identity and messaging, fostering a culture of brand advocacy and excellence.
Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and technological advancements in branding and communications to continuously innovate and elevate our brand presence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field. Or equivalent years of experience.
Proven experience in brand management, communications, or marketing roles, preferably within the architecture, design, or creative industries.
Leadership or experience in brand evolution and or re-branding in an end-to-end capacity.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans and initiatives.
Excellent project management skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and engage diverse audiences.
Proficiency in graphic design software and digital marketing platforms/tools such as Adobe/InDesign suite and Microsoft suites is a must.
Hands-on experience managing a diverse range of marketing tools, including CMS platforms, email marketing software (EDM), survey tools, social media management platforms, and other digital marketing resources
Passion for architecture, design, and creativity, with a deep appreciation for the power of branding to drive business growth and success.
