Brand Designer

Hairhouse has a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Brand Designer to join the Support Centre team based in Doncaster for a 12-month maternity leave cover, commencing April 2024. Reporting to the Brand Manager and in collaboration with the Creative Director, the role is responsible for the design and brand development of our Exclusive private label brand portfolio, taking concepts from ideation through to execution for products, packaging, brand campaigns, digital and print media and retail point of sale.
The main areas of responsibility include:

• Ideation and strategic concept development of new and existing private label brands
• Concepts and direction for brand photoshoots
• Oversee design projects from conception to delivery
• Design and develop packaging for all private label brands
• Design the visual merchandising layout for display in stores
• Management of campaign rollout across both online and in store

To be successful in this role, the candidate will have the following:

• 7+ years’ experience in graphic design, ideally in retail or agency
• Proven experience in brand and packaging design, with a compelling folio of work
• Proficient in Adobe Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop & Indesign)
• Experience in Sketch desirable
• Ability to work well in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Strong organisational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong design skills across both print and digital design
