Brand Manager, interim 6 month role, Sydney

They are currently looking for an interim Brand Manager for a 6 month period
Responsibilities:
- the Brand Manager leads marketing strategy, translating insights into brand initiatives to drive growth and meet revenue goals.
- own your physical and mental safety, maintain a positive attitude, stay calm during changes, be open and transparent, and express ideas respectfully to internal and external stakeholders.
- be authentic, engaged, and curious. create a development plan, seek support when needed, and be a good leader. explain the marketing function direction, mentor team members, and provide development opportunities for career growth.
- passionate about customers and promoting customer-centricity in business. conduct customer research projects with research agencies, ensuring timely execution within budget. utilize existing research dashboards like nps and brand tracking to derive insights for marketing activities. apply insights in planning, executing, and reviewing marketing initiatives.
- optimize return on marketing spend by managing campaign budgets effectively, conducting supplier evaluations, and negotiating contracts. focus on operational efficiency by reducing resources and improving effectiveness for fantastic furniture.
- connected to community help to build a brand that cares about the community and the planet. develop, implement, and evaluate integrated campaigns and activities to enhance fantastic furniture's credibility. ensure campaigns are developed on time, within budget, and meet key milestones. complete pirs on time with clear learnings and actions.
- grow the business by delivering sustainable growth for brand and company revenue. develop, implement, and evaluate integrated brand campaigns across various channels. focus on positive movement for relevant brand metrics. create activation campaigns to reach revenue targets and achieve sales targets. implement and evaluate local marketing activities for refit, new, or underperforming stores to hit individual sales targets.
experience
- 5+ years working within marketing retail marketing experience
- experience in writing marketing briefs experience in working at medium size brand with ecommerce offer
- previous exposure and experience in media, both mass
- and digital media
- previous exposure to customer research
- previous experience working with creative and
- media agency
qualifications
- university degree in marketing
- technical skills
- microsoft office suite experience in project management software
- analytical and curious
- excellent organisation skills, ability to multi-task with strong attention to details
- great presentation skills, both verbal and written
- collaborative and a great team player
- strong commercial acumen
